Thank you Punta Cana Helicopters! We booked Helicopter VIP Tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our marriage. Punta Cana Helicopters prepared us a surprise and landed on hotel Heliport. Captain was very professional, we moved along coastline which was very nice bonus and landed on Saona Island at the edge of the beach just few meters from sea water. Lunch was excellent, service the same. We like to accommodate with local people and felt how positive and nice they are. The beach is absolutely beautiful, clean, white sand, you could walk or swim there. We have travelled a lot but this beach is the best of the best. We remember this trip for a lifetime. Holiday of a lifetime, mother and daughter This holiday to the Dominican Republic was our holiday of a lifetime, one never to be forgotten, a strong bond between mother and daughter,double trouble. I booked at the IFA Bavaro, on the second day,we were approached by a couple of staff, David & Rene who till the end made us feel welcome, we booked a helicopter flip for thirty minutes, we were ironically in a room close to the helicopter pad, which we then called our door to door service, the first trip, we were like little kids,we met an awesome pilot, Bernie and Lenny the technician, we felt so special, we really enjoyed the trip so we decided to do the private ride to the stunning island of Saona ,where we meet the pilot called Gabriel Vazquez,he was so nice to us and made our trip even more special! ! We can't thanks you all enough!

Great Helicoper tour I only booked the short 20 minute flight but turned out to be a great time. They flew the entire beach so we could check out all the hotels from the air and got a lot of great pictures and especialy the heart shaped reef. They also circled our hotel so we could get some great shots of it. He also took us over a hotel that was started then abanded which was sad to see. I would recomend this trip to anyone not afraid to fly.

I love the flat water conditions in Punta Cana, they are the best for teaching Kite Surf!

It depends on the individual, each student learns at their own pace, but in general it can take as little as 9hrs to learn the basic skills and up to 15hrs


The school provides all necessary Kitesurfing gear for the safe completion of the course: helmet, life vest, water booties, harness, kite leash, kite & board

When is a good time to come to PC for Kitesurfing?

Our windy season is from November up to April, July & August is also windy.

The windiest month during the season is February with regular winds from 18kts up to 24kts

That will depend on your weight and the strength of the wind at your riding location. The most popular Kite to buy for a beginner is a 12m Kite as this size sits between a big and a small size kite.

A medium to big size board is recommended for the 1st year of riding, a helmet and impact vest or life vest is also recommended

What is the best time of day to start my course?

At our Kiteschool it is always better to start in the early mornings as the Sun is low and behind us. The students are fresh and our instructors are as well

All of our courses are private one to one teaching with your dedicated instructor in the water with you at all times

We also offer group courses for beginners students with the same level.

A group course can be with 2 to 3 students sharing 1 instructor flying and sharing 1 Kite.

This is recommended for day 1 and day 2 only, day 3 and onwards it is recommended to go private one to one

Being fit always helps in sports, but Kitesurfing is for all ages, fitness levels and genders

Does my knowledge of Surfing/Wakeboarding/Snowboarding helps in learning Kitesurfing?

As we are a first come first serve company, it is highly recommended to pre-book your Kitesurfing course prior to your arrival

All bookings are fully 100% refundable in the case of no wind during your stay

You will obtain your IKO CERTIFICATION at the completion of your Kitesurfing course with your reached skill level. IKO is “International Kiteboarding Organization”
